Our role includes:
- Funeral arrangements.
- Applying for the Grant of Administration from the Probate Court.
- Inventory and security of estate assets and re-registering assets in executor’s name.
- Asset management and insurance during the administration of the estate.
- Arranging for the advertisement for creditors and payment of proven debts.
- Tax return filings and applying for tax clearance certificates for the estate.
- Dealing with any legal claims against the estate, such as under the Wills Variation provisions of the Wills, Estates and Succession Act.
- Distributing assets to beneficiaries and creating cash within the estate to satisfy cash legacies.
